Dr. Amparo Espinosa Rugarcía

A professor of Monetary Theory and Professional Ethics, Dr. Rugarcía earned her doctorate in Human Development from the Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City).  A woman of many talents, her varied published works include Dulce Asalto al Poder: Perfil Político de las nuevas Primeras Damas, (Edamex) as well as works of fiction.  Her comments appear in print and are heard on the radio; she also lectures throughout her native Mexico.  Dr. Rugarcía presently directs the foundation Documentación y Estudios de Mujeres, A.C. (DEMAC) and the company PROMECASA. She is a member of the Board of Directors of TELMEX and of the Board of Trustees of the National Art Museum Trust (Museo Nacional de Arte: MUNART), among other organizations.
