David A. Coulter

Mr. Coulter serves as Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Warburg Pincus, focusing on the firm’s financial services practice.  Until his retirement in September 2005, Mr. Coulter served as Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Chase and Co, where he also served as Executive Chairman of its investment bank, asset and wealth management, and private equity businesses.  Before joining J.P. Morgan Chase, his twenty-year plus career at Bank of America Corporation included a wide range of executive positions, including the post of Chairman and CEO.  Mr. Coulter’s directorships include PG&E Corporation, the Strayer Corporation, First Data Corporation and The Irvine Company.
