Patricia Diaz Dennis

Mrs. Diaz Dennis is the senior vice president and assistant general counsel for AT&T (formerly SBC).  Before joining AT&T, she was special counsel to Sullivan & Cromwell in the law firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Appointed by President Reagan, she served on the National Labor Relations Board from 1983-86 and as commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission from 1986-89. President Bush appointed her assistant secretary for human rights and humanitarian affairs at the U.S. Department of State where she served from 1992-1993. Mrs. Diaz Dennis serves on the boards of directors of Mass Mutual/The Blue Chip Company, UST and is a former director of Carr America Realty.
