Irene
Natividad is co-chair of Corporate Women Directors International (CWDI), which
promotes the increased participation of women on corporate boards globally. CWDI is an offshoot of the Global Summit of Women, a 16-year-old gathering of
women leaders from around the world, for which she serves as President. She
serves on numerous boards, from nonprofits such as the National Museum of Women
in the Arts to advisory boards for Cigna, Wyndham International and the National
Association of Corporate Directors. From 1994 to 2002, she also served on
the Board of Directors of the Sallie Mae Corporation. Recently selected as one
of the “21 Leaders for the 21st Century”, by Women’s eNews,
Ms. Natividad was also named as on of the “25 Most Influential Working Mothers”
by
Working Mother magazine; and as one of the “100 Most Powerful Women in
America” by Ladies Home Journal.
