A native of South Korea, Sung Joo Kim serves as a board director at MCM Inc., a German retailer of luxury goods.  A veteran in the high-end fashion industry, Ms. Kim is President and CEO of Sung Joo International, one of South Korea’s most prominent and popular retail chains.  Credited with having introduced Western style retailing to Korea, Ms. Kim is one of Asia’s most celebrated businesswomen, with profiles in Forbes and Newsweek.  She was recently selected by Asiaweek as one of the 7 most influential women in Asia.
