VISA Information
All Summit participants are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documents to enter Vietnam. Given the time and effort to acquire a visa to enter Vietnam, participants are urged to begin the visa application process immediately. Visas are required for participants with passports from nearly all countries, including the United States, European Union, and African countries. Registrants from the following countries do not need to obtain a visa prior to entering Vietnam: Denmark, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, and Thailand. Participants are urged to contact the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate closest to them for up-to-date travel guidelines. attention: Participants, who do not have a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in their country If there is not a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in your country, you may apply for a visa to be issued on arrival at the Hanoi airport by filling out the LANDING VISA APPLICATION FORM. Please download the application and follow the instructions on the form in order to ensure that your visa application is processed in a timely manner. In order to secure a visa on arrival in Hanoi if there is not a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in your country, you must fill out this form. Please complete and submit the form as soon as possible. You will also need to bring the following documentation to the airport: official passport; proof of return flight; official Summit confirmation letter; 3 x 4 inch photo; and proof of accommodations in Vietnam, as well as the Visa fee of $25 US.
